Hi, my name is Roberta. Here is my testimony of what a difference working with Rebecca (Chef Becky) Brown has made in my life. I am 53 years old, and have 4 grown children and five grandchildren. As a single Mom most of my life I was very busy. We usually ate what I thought was good food, but come to find out it wasn't as healthy as I thought. One thing I did do was keep myself in shape. I love to exercise.

However, four to five years ago I suffered a severe back injury. I could only lay on the floor for a month and a half in severe pain. I could do nothing, except cry. I could barely crawl to the bathroom. My children had to do everything. I received my first Cortisone injection in my spine. One month later I received the second injection which made me feel better, but nowhere near back to normal. One month later I fell on the ice and broke my tail bone and again another injection. The pain management doctor kept wanting to give me strong pain medication which I refused to take. I started thinking about what I was doing to my body with all these drugs so I took supplements instead. I was using CuraMed, D-Flame and Ibuprofen everyday. This managed the pain but never completely took it away. I would still have times when I could not sleep because of the pain. I stopped working out, and subsequently gained weight - which added to my stress, anxiety and depression.

My other major issue was that I have been taking anti-depression and anxiety medications which I wanted to stop; but they are very addicting. The doctors couldn't cure the pain so they just kept writing prescription after prescription.

So, by the grace of God, I was lead to the most wonderful woman (Coach Becky Brown) and I started going to her Test Kitchen cooking classes and learned how to make healthier meals for myself. I found the environment to be very encouraging and home-like, as if we were all family. I learned a lot about healthy and unhealthy foods and eventually ended up discussing with Becky the possibility of her coaching me.

We started with a Cleansing Detox Program to get toxins out of my body. After the three weeks I felt great, the inflammation in my back was gone, and I was encouraged that I might even be able to exercise again. I was able to stop taking all the pain/inflammation supplements and was feeling amazing. Once the Detox was over, I was to start adding one food group back into my system at a time to see if I was allergic to anything. Well my first choice, of course, was bread. Well my back pain immediately returned to the point where I couldn't stand up, sleep or do much of anything for 4 long days. Finally on the 7th day I felt back to normal. Becky was there for me the entire way. I called her and she kept telling me to detox, detox and detox to get the gluten out of my system. Needless to say I did it immediately. It was amazing to me that all my inflammation and pain could be connected to food.

I have stopped some of my depression/anxiety medications and I look forward to where I can eventually stop taking all of them. As a side benefit, I also went from 135 pounds to 122 pounds, which I am very happy with.

This program is not only about healthy eating, but the Circle of Life and how to balance all areas of life which Becky implements into her program; things like career, finances, relationships and exercise – to name a few. One thing she helped me with was how to save time and money by planning a weekly menu. It was so easy once I got the hang of it. Once I chose my favorite recipes, I knew what I was preparing for the week and had all the ingredients for each recipe in the house. And by planning my weekly menu exactly, I was able to save $50 off my grocery bill in one week – just by buying only things I needed !!! Now nothing goes to waste. If I save this kind of money every week, that's $200 a month !!! A great savings.

Becky is warm-hearted, always there for you, and has your best interest in mind. She individually adjusts her program specifically to you and is a great support through her coaching program. I would highly recommend Becky as a Coach and I wish everyone could go through the transformation I did. I am grateful for all our sessions and the time she took to put a great program together for me.
